The request: to build the frontend based on the design provided by the client and to add content animations on page scroll and micro animaitons on mouseover certain key words from the content. For admin, the client chose WordPress as the CMS and wanted to be able to edit the content of the portfolio pages.

Custom WordPress blocks

For the portfolio pages, I've created in WordPress seven types of blocks that can be added one on top of each other and reordered as needed. This ensure that each portfolio page will have a unique design. Each block have the option to use a desktop image, a mobile image or a video (local file or youtube). All portfolio pages are listed in the 'work' page.
